Ok, I have a pattern fo a Croaker fly that calls for "Kip Tail". Anyone have a clue? It might be a regional nick name for something, but I am not sure. So far, when I ask at the fly shops, I get a big question mark. I'm talking to those that stock mostly the materials common to saltwater, and not real involved in the tying world... So, I'm lost.
Also, I'm finding some recipes calling for "jiggy tails". Are these fly materials, or are tey an adaptation of plastic worms that salties are ding?

come to think about it you must be rite LOL The only problem with cow tipping was that you had to do it at night and, the bull took exception to being treated like that and, we had to run for the gate because we couldn't see the fence. That gate could be a long run some time LOL
