Brian sent some pics from his trip to the keys over to me and I thought I'd share with the rest of you. This is how you fish sailfish Right away he gets down to business, fish on! Time for some refreshment as he fights the good fight, LOL. Is that a Heineken Brian? And there he has it, nice fish Brian! How long did this take? Way to go man!

Thanks for posting these. Yes Bob, that is my beverage of choice when a blender can't be found.
He hit a live Speedo fished from the kite. The current was really rippin' that day, I was fishing a fast action 10 to 20 pound class St. Croix fast action rod. (Basically has just a little more back bone than a wet noodle) My saving graces were the fact that I was using the Van Staal loaded with 25 pound super braid, and I had a great captain at the wheel. We dropped the anchor so he could back down on him. 4 miles and nearly an hour and a half later it was the Kodak momment.
