They feed on the same bottom structure as the black drum. They also feed with croaker.Look for areas that have live oysters and, marsh grass and, you will have a good area to start fishing for them

Sounds like an EXVELLENT day spent with Mother Ocean!! Nothing like riding home with calm seas, sore arms from Gaffers, a couple buzzbits to loose the tongue recanting the catch of the day!!

Good thing you got out of there fast! If you had stuck around, they probably would have been whining that they were too sore to clean the boat up, and after a day of putting Gaffers in the box, that's always a job!!!

I'm playing that game this morning too!!! (Though it doesn't involve a lawn mower... My fun started with a plunger....DON'T ASK!!!) The thunder clouds are building here too, was supposed to take mom out for a "picnic" this afternoon.... She'll probably blame the rain on me... Between us, we have three ladies making a full dog house, we're never going to win this game!!
