The warden has me rattling pots in the galley today (Saturday). #1 I don't like to fish inshore on the weekends and#2 we have BIG!! thunder storms moving through the area. I"m thinking that a couple of yard birds are in big trouble soon LOL

T storms would keep me off the water, but I think I might chance fishing on the weekend to get out of galley duty once in a while!! LOL

I just hate to put up with all the folks out playing on the weekends.Another thing is that folks are always on the look out for some one catching fish so they can slip in on there spot later. Most weekend fishermen don't take the time to locate fish or check out spots they sit back and, let folks like me do it then they slip in and, claim the area .

Ya know, it might be fun to get a Marlin replica and do a little dovtoring to it so that it sinks. Pull up on a spot that will never have fish in it before the weekend whackos get on the water. Wait for them to come around and pretend to land the billfish. I'm sure some of them would fall for it and fish that spot until the pink cows come home! LOL

Yea , we had caught a string of big red fish out in the bay and,on the way home we slowed down at a bridge that crossed a small salt water creek and, the little light went off in our heads at the same time.We took turns watching for cars and, hauling fish over the rail for about two houris. For about two weeks after that they were elbow to elbow on that bridge.
