The summer trout have started to move into the coastal marsh creeks and, the action has started to pick up.They are in the bay's and, coastal creeks feeding on shrimp and, we have had enough rain for them to start growing to good size. Live shrimp and, cut menhaden is the bait of choice for the non long rods folks and, for the rest of us it's chartreuse and, while clousers and, olive and, white clousers,

I have a charter for Sunday .I'm taking two fellas to Bulls Bay to get a feel for whats going on.I will let you no how it gos as soon as I get back in.These guy's want to do the live bait thing but, it will give me a chance to wet a line and, figure out where they are feeding.By the way the triple tail are running now also and, my buddie Ashley did get his clock cleaned by a monster Cobia last week LOL he finally admitted it today over lunch LOL but, I still have not seen my 12 wt. return home LOL

Sounds like Ashley miight be suffering from "Moby thingy Syndrom" and you won't see your 12 wt return to your roost until he has conquered the great beast!!! LOL Looking forward to the report come Sunday!

He did mumble something about loosing a fly line and, a bunch of backing to what looked like a torpedo under a channel marker.I tied him up some big Cobia flies on 4/0 hooks and, he just smiled.I think he may have a plan LOL

I think he had better luck with that monster today.All he said was it was a good fight and, he didn't want to kill it.The smile said a lot and, my rod came home !!!!!
