I caught some 2 inch large mouth bass a very small flies. Took them back to my aquaruim at home and raised them till they were 12 inches and died. One would let me pet him. I'd put my hand in the tank and he swim over to it and got between my fingers. I actually think he liked it.

and its an excuse to by a 1wt or 0wt
although, if a 12" or larger striper took the silver and got hooked on a rod that light, imagine the what would happen

You'd need a good wheel man to back down on it! LOL
I just can't see myself spending that much effort on bait....But if others want to do it, I don't mind... That way there would be fewer boats banging around on the water where the real fish are! LOL

With a lite rod like that I don't think even a good wheel an could help you much.

Oh come on Sandy, give yourself some credit, you'd just need the right boat!! (Besides, I know you, you'd get that 12 incher in the bait box so you could put a skirt on it and drag it someplace where the water has a bit more blue color to it!!)

The problem is that dome people think their Bass doesn't stink, and we have to suffer as they wave their finger about trying to give us their opinion.
