Welcome back Dan and a nice Yak. Tom and I can attest to Dan being a good fishing partner. We had a good time at OBX. Dan lives real close to you Brian. Rich

Where'd you get your yak? Is that a Prowler? (Heard good things about the O.K.'s, but I don't know the models well. Wife said it looked like one, but not sure.)

I ended up getting it from BPS. I wasn't going to get one until I went there for a couple other things and they were haveing a kayak demo day. I tested on and ended up leaving with a Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game. This kayak is really sturdy. I call it the barge. I did boat me a nice striper the last day of striper season. John and I are planing on going pickeral fishing in the kayaks next weekend. I have a couple of new ponds that we are going to be trying out. Glad to see everybody again and hope to keep in touch. Cnot, I will run into you sometime out on the water. I will be fishing a lot more this year since I learned a few places to fish the past year.

I have never been to the ditch before but I was suppose to go last wednseday but the wind was really blowing and I didn't want to make the trip and get blown off the water. I am hopeing to make it down that way sometime soon. If I make it there I will make sure I give you'll a report.

Good deal. Weather is looking prety good. The dith is pretty protected. There is one cove that is producing that is real protected. If you are going with someone that knows the area, you should check with them before cancelling. You might be able to fish it when other areas aren't good.

hey nice yak! i got rid of my yak but i still want one, just a diff one. i liked the hobbie. bri has one of those baby's and think he loves it. my shoulders couldn't handle the paddling and got myself into trouble a couple of times. sheeze. but i did like the places you go in it. i'd still like one so i could take it with me. i have my little motor boat but i leave it here in fla in it's trailer. can only tow one thing at a time. yaks are nice since you can tote them around to places. i felt a little vulnerable by myself with mine. more fun with friends. bri's is a two seater. looks like lots of fun. i wish i had gotten the dolly for mine. have fun, take lots of fishy pics for us folks standin on dirt.
