Summer is here ! large schools of Spanish mack's have started showing up just out side the surf line here in SC and, the time to break out the fly rod is here! they are crushing pearl clouser flies and, silver clouser flies tied on #1 hooks. All you have to do is cruse around watching for sea gulls diving and, run to the spot .The sea gulls are feeding on chopped up bait that the mack's are feeding on close to the surface .All you have to do is make long cast and, fast retrieves.These fish hit a fly hard and, take a good bit of line after the hook up so, you have to be quick .
