The Largemouth Bass are really hitting right now (July 6th 2008). My son and I were catching 12 - 18 inch bass mainly near the banks out about 2 foot. They seem to be under the moss beds and are hitting just about anything. We used everything from nightcrawlers to spinnerbaits to auger tail plastic worms. Seen a few other fisherman pull in some bigger ones using jigs rigged with auger tail worms and also fishing close to the bank. All mainly on the north and east side of the lake.

Bob, do the fish move with the weather or time of year? (Just wondering about the fact that you mentioned the north and east side of the lake) Or is there specific structure there?

I think it was because it was the sunny side of the lake where the water temp is a little warmer in the shallows
