Most fish feed at night in lakes that have heavy recreational traffic. Because of this you are more likely to catch the bigger ones at night. Also bait fish are known to move around more at night.

They do that a lot up here. Sometimes the line at the ramp on Lake Wallenpaupac is longer at night than in the daylight hours. P.S. The name Wallenpaupac is Indian for " THe sheep are nervous ". LOL
