I see a lot of guys heading out for the spring season with their tackle box a mess and their fishing rods and reels dirty and with old line. They can't find what they are looking for in the box, cussing "where did I put that" and the rod casts like crap.
While we still have a few weeks of down time before the spring season is on now is a good time to get everything organized and ready to go. Clean out your tackle box and put everything in its proper place. Clean up you rods and reels and spool new line on so you are all ready to go come show time.

An organized tackle box is a sign that my blender is broken.

Now that's funny. My wife would say that even if I was stone drunk. I'd still have everything in it's proper place. LOL

Whirring blender blades + fish hook = too many sharp things in any one given place of the known universe for a blind man to be. (Besides observation of world politics has taught me that leaders are naturally twisted, interwoven things that are not meant for me to argue with, unless, of course, I want to end up with a noose of sorts around my neck. Attempting to straighten out a leader is treasonous to a tackle box, and delving into the political depths of a tackle box to touch upon them will leave you open to barbs and possible lead poisoning. My approach to politcal affairs such as this is to reach in, see if I can't get what I need out of the mess and go about enjoying the simple aspect of fishing. If other men want to spend their spare time off the water organizing a mess that will only recreate itself as soon as the box takes a bounce along the road, let them. I would rather leave it alone and fire up the blender.)
P.S. Now you see why my friends find it best not to let me mix politics and fishing, I tend to get all tied in knots and rattle on.

LMAO But I figured a blind man especially would need an organized tackle box otherwise your always grabbing hooks.

Bob, sorry I got carried away..... Silly me, I get so wrapped up in our little family here that I forgot that there might be a gizzillion others looking in in..... Guess that is what I get for being the site's fool.... Uh, Jester.....
So, on a serious note.......
Bob is right. Organize up befoe hitting the water. there is something to be said for "a place for everything, and everything in its place." When you reach for those pliers you need to free a fish you don't want to come up with a half dozen gang hooks anchoring themselves in your flesh. (After all isn't that why you took the time this winter to sharpen the things?)
I guess what I am saying is this: If you let your tackle box get as screwed up as politics, you'll have a lap full of donkeys and elephants when you open it up.
