Flow 132cfs temperatures at damn dam = 54f 5.5 mi downstream = 58f 7 mi downstream = 60f 10 mi down = 61f locals say good on smallmouth bass and rainbows.

b4 ya'll ask 1 bow about 14 or 15 inches today!! anyway the work on Canyon Dam has been posponed for a few weeks, so I guess yer good ta go until the end of march. any changes and i'll try ta let ya know. beautiful sunny day up there too, temp about 72, but they keep saying it'll warm up again soon! tight lines tom

mornin all,, todays adventure= headin south till i hit water!! checkin out galveston islands fishing conditions from boliver roads west to freeport. this is a " scouting trip", while running my warlord (aka wife) around for her job. I realize I'm being taken advantage of, and it's a dirty job,,, but somebody has ta do it. oh yeat present temp 54f and expected high of 75, hope it warms up soon though!!\tom

even lake conroe is full.. skiers, pwc's. but go far enough north into the area around stubblefield (which flows into conroe) and theres too many stumps shallows and old tree stickups for the crazyness. it's really a decent place to go as the bass love the stumps. lately i've run into several kayakers fishing up there.

it really is rich,but you have to boat or paddle up to it. theres times like these i miss my kayak. my back doesn't but my fishing itch does...lol
