In the fall channel catfish are changing their patterns from summer feeding in the shallows at night to more mid-depth waters closer to deeper areas. Good spots are mouths of feeder streams and deeper rocky shore lines. I like to use natural baits such as night crawlers and chicken livers thou some dough baits do work. Fish near the bottom as they are primarly bottom feeders
